I went to a bike meet that led to a group ride. It was about 8 miles through Dallas. Mostly adults, but there were a bunch of 10-13 year old kids on BMX bikes that would have freaked me out if I was the adult in charge. The guy who ran things reeled them in once in a while but he pretty much let them run wild. It didn't seem very safe to me but I suppose these kids are used to riding in traffic.
