Structure and direction, saccy, structure and direction.

Any mug can look stuff up on the internet, but being able to sort out
  • fact from fiction
  • a training plan that suits
    - defined goals
    - ability
    - changing state of fitness

is something best left to those who know how.

I haven't raced yet. But I'm training better than I ever have, climbing hills middle of the pack instead of off the back, feeling bloody excellent, and I'm much faster than I was when I was racing as a junior. The coach takes away the self inhibiting factors by (eventually) setting the standard higher than you could ever imagine setting it on your own. Ergo, if I'm not puking when I'm doing my intervals I'm clearly not trying hard enuf
