OK, so the Senate passed SB 488 and the House version, HB 827, died. So then the House got a hold of SB 488, changed it a bit, and then passed it. So then the House and Senate had to put together a committee to come to agreement on the final bill language. They just changed it back to what the Senate passed. Now both House and Senate have passed the bill a 2nd time. It's going before the Governor. He's got a set period of time to veto it (unlikely), sign it into law (maybe), or just sit back and after a set period of days, it becomes law without his signature. I think this one's in the bag folks.
