Top 10 Reasons why today's commute was great:

#10 - Partly cloudy skies, 61 deg.
#9 - No wind. NONE!
#8 - First commute on clipless pedals and I didn't fall over.
#7 - My new commuting shoes are really comfy. And fashionable.
#6 - I zipped past a line of about 30 cars stopped at a traffic light (I was making a right) and FELT REALLY GOOD!
#5 - Drivers were especially courteous today. They waited until I had a chance to move over, slowed down as they passed me. What gives?
#4 - The hills I climb are becoming less of a challenge.
#3 - And when I climb those hills, shifting to my "granny gear" never even occurs to me.
#2 - I trued my own wheels before heading out and didn't break anything.
And the #1 reason why the commute was great today:
