First bike commute in 3 1/2 years! Installed the new Mavic Pros last night and off I went this morning. I had forgotten how much time it takes in the morning. More to pack and more to think about -I'll get used to it again.

Great day for a ride. Just right temp (68F) but a bit muggy. Would have been perfect if I hadn't had such troubles with the panniers continually being kicked off by my heels. I used to ride in with road shoes and now I'm using MTB shoes, which I beleive have a bigger heel causing the problem. Something else I'll have to figure out. It's still a great way to start the day!
