Tried my first bibs this winter. They are bib knickers and are comfy. I also have two pairs of bigs as part of my race team kit. This said I just bought a pair of PI Pro-micro sensor 3D shorts and must say I love em. I don't have a boinkage problem and like all my shorts as well as the bibs.

I wear my base layer under the bibs.
