Hi to All,
Yes, I'm definitely lucky to find this thread

.
I have a MIKI SAKAI bike that was bought new in 1981, that makes this bike 28+ years old! Only recently I took interest to find more information about it. It didn't come with a head-badge so it becomes difficult to trace. I have 2 stickers on the center-pillar (Seat-stem); "Parker Process, MIKI SAKAI, Made in Japan" & "CHAMPION No.2, CHROME MOLYBDEN STEEL, BUTTED TUBES, Tange Industries Ltd."
The bike is Metallic Black in colour with some chromed parts exposed. I observed that the whole bike is actually chromed; from areas with paint chip-offs underside is still shiny.
I am still not sure which model is mine, even after looking at the countless websites' photos. Perhaps it has close resemblance to the SEKAI 4000 model. My MIKI SAKAI have an all SHIMANO Dura-Ace Aero parts on it. It had remained 'stock' condition as it has since 1981.
Even till now, it still provides me with the same nice smooth ride like it used to.
Frame S/no.: M1A00409
Could anyone tell me which model is this bike?
Thanks
