Just over 350 miles on my Clyde SA and it's comfier than than either Brooks...hands down.
FWIW, I also took a backup saddle (WTB Laser V) on a weeklong supported tour...I switched to it midweek.
Good luck on the ride billydonn!

I tried to get comfortable on a Brooks B-17, but I didn't have the patience to endure "breaking it in". After about 250 miles of excruciating pain I sent the B-17 to
Monarch-McLaren and had them cut the Selle Anatomica style slot in the dam thing.
WOWZA...the M-C-M surgery turned a torture device into the most comfortable saddle that I've had since I was a kid and didn't know any better.
