here's what they say
the Ultegras index with 6, 7, or 8 speed cassettes and both work with a friction mode, too
which would lead me to beleive that they're suggesting they work with 6 7 or 8 speed indexed.
...it kinda makes sense, because the High stop on the RD would keep you from selecting too high a gear with the shifter. right?
