You all make very good points. My new wheels are a little more heavy than the old set but I not a weight weenie.

The bike is my everyday bike - I appreaciate vintage bike but I do perfer to have some modern parts on it.

I think I will hold onto the wheelset for the summer - if I can see myself with the bike for at least 3-5 more years, then I will sell off the wheels.

What does a pair of tubular bianchi wheels go for anyways? The tires are still intact and hold air great.
