I bought it NOS, and it seems to stay pretty clean. I bought the grey one NOS as well, though just yesterday - have not had a chance to sit on it.
That said, the grey one was a bit grimy from the shop; I cleaned the vinyl up with some GOJO w/pumice. Should work equally well for removing grime from the white one.

All depends on the preferences of your posterior.

I don't think they can be considered higher-end saddles on par with the San Marco stuff; granted, they are more mid-range then top end, and I wouldn't be putting them on a Masi. Nevertheless, they aren't shoddy either - I have no complaints with the fit and finish of the ones I own, or the red Triathlon models (same thing as the Targa with "TRIATHLON" stitched on the sides) still at the LBS.
In short, they're built well, I find them quite comfortable (YMMV), and they fit the "'80s bike" look without breaking the bank - I wouldn't spend $70 for a Concor Super Corsa that is less comfortable, and is even uglier then these Iscaselles, in my opinion.
