Thanks Kurt & Tigerprawn. You're right, it is comfortable in that I don't notice it's there, if you see what I mean. I'll try cleaning it up again as it's currently on my '80's Viner and it matches the pearl frame & white bar tape quite well in my opinion - and of course it's the right era. Much obliged for your input chaps.
