I agree about being awesome touring barcons. I mounted them on my 1995 Cannondale T400. Love them to death. Cheap, light, smooooooth, practical... doesn't get any better. The combo of my Ultegra shifters (the ones in the link are Ultegra, but for some reason, they stopped labeling them as such and gave it a number.), and my RX100 derailleurs is just unstoppable.
I had a set just like that that didn't say Dura Ace or Ultegra, but the decals on the R shifter made it clear that they were compatible in 8-sp with a 7400 RD and compatible in 8-sp with a 7700 RD. I've heard that only applied to the DA models. I'm wondering if they're the same as the 8/9 models being sold elsewhere for about $90?
