I'd take some of the comments with a pinch of salt, some of the negatives raised are by people who haven't even seen one and some who are emotionally committed to their existing lights.

Worse still, at least one of the detractors designs, makes and attempts to retail some rather shoddy untested P7 housings and clearly fears this new light will be direct competition.

I'd recommend that you wait until a few people on here have received these lights and actually tried them.

It would be a pity to convict the accused without any sort of fair trial.....

As these lights are tried and tested P7 design and technlogy and very likely made by an experienced torch manufacturer, there's no reason yet to assume they are any better or worse than the average P7 torch.

For the record, my P7 torch, charger, mount and batteries cost more than this new cycle light.

If I hadn't already invested and was starting from scratch I would definitely choose the cycle light - easier charging, 4 x 18650, it very likely weighs less (than my set up), neater install, etc....
