first metric and thanks

first metric and thanks

i did the 65 mile ride today at the 100 grand in grand rapids michigan. and i feel great! the most i've ever done was 40 miles on flat terrain. this is my first step to a 100 mile century.

awesome ride, great food, and the volunteers were much appreciated.

i rode a trek soho s, fixed with 44/15.

i couldn't have done it without you, BF members. thanks.

p.s. lessons learned: more chamois butt'r!

oh, edit to add ride time: 65 miles in 4:10 - 4:35 (with stops) @ (i thingk it was) 15.7. avg. (lots of hills)
