Bummer, not much you can do when you blow the bead or sidewall, except for a new tire. When loaded touring you always need to have a spare-but not standard on club rides. I had a tire blow up on Mt. Carmel Rd. and had to call my wife so don't feel bad.
I'm signed up for the CWC in September, there may be another pre ride scheduled, not sure.
I got to sign up for the CWC, if theres no preride schedualed and your game we can do our own, finishing this ride is high on my list. Wife said to bring a spare tire next time, just in case, over 7k on a bike and I never needed one, then again when 80 miles from home better safe than sorry. I burned more gas having the wife come up and back than a spare tire would have cost.
