Thank you all for the kind words and especially to LuckyCat for his "open minded" advise concerning non-steel bikes. It allowed me to be objective, not subjective, test riding the Cannondale. This Can is a welcomed addition.

I likened it to cars. My 04 Mazda 3 is somewhat sporty and is appointed with all the creature comforts making travel pleasant. Kinda like my road bike. My 70 240Z (modified) is inches off the ground telegraphing every inch of the road, has crank-up windows, no heat, no air, not even a radio (too load) and makes driving a blast. Much like my FG.

Again many thanks to all of you for your insight and support, it's appreciated.

BTW---Rolling on the smooth surface at my local track, the carbon saddle was fine. However, on a short jaunt to the beach sitting on that thin shell atop the Can proved difficult. I'm sure even Michael Schumacher would agree here-LOL.
