The line may not go as high as a death sentence, but certainly not as low as some of the "squirrel in the road" mentality that a lot of vehicular manslaughter laws/convictions have exhibited. Case in point, a recent local motorist received a 6 year sentence for killing four persons (4 years for the first victim, and 8 months for each of the remaining 3) while driving intoxicated on a suspended license from a previous DUI.
