See now that's the kind of ignorant comment I find too often on this board. The reason you won't get a ticket is because the cop wasn't there to see the infraction. If you run that same red light with nobody around to see it and you don't kill the cyclist, you still won't get a ticket. Your comment makes it seem like killing the cyclist in front of a cop's eyes will guarantee you no ticket, because it's a non issue when the cop isn't around.

I understand that this is a bike forum, but my opinion still stands that many non cycling accidents are considered "tragic" by members here that would consider it murderous if a cyclist is the victim.
