I would agree with that punishment being logical, although I must tell you that even repeat DWI/DUI offenders are out there driving as we speak. The courts seem to think driving is too important to consider it a true privilege (although I know people who are legally blind that get around just fine). It's true that we aren't harsh enough on people. However, I don't agree that death is proof of anything. Go into the road forum and read about our very own TCR. He crossed the yellow line, hit a truck head-on, and died. Based on your logic, the truck driver should lose his license because the other guy died. I'll also point out that people do just as stupid things and don't kill or hurt anyone. Should we revoke their license as well, or do we have to wait until they also kill someone?
