Are the white ones really white, or are they off-white, like the Zaffiro Pros?

I made the mistake of buying a $30 set of tires to replace my old ones (the rear was a Zaffiro) and after a month or so, even the front tire is losing its tread, which, according to the rear tire means that I'm going to hit the inner wall of the front tire rather soon.
