Racing can be found at various places.

On the Central Coast here its on the University Campus grounds, Brush Rd Ourimbah. 1.8km hotmix. Roll up is 8:00am Sundays. Entry $7:00

North Shore cycling clubs share Beaumont Rd, Mt Kuringai (just off the old Pacific Hwy), also on a Sunday at about 8:00am. 3km out and back circuit. Entry $10:00

In Newcastle you will find a bunch of old cronies like me desperately clinging to their youth on a Sunday morning at Kooragang Island. Start time is 8:00am (for some unknown reason they actually start on time, so be early). Entry is $8:00 I think

Also be aware that they change the start times during daylight savings. Non DST start times are usually an hour later.

My coach is a south african fella who moved to Oz last year. He's now in full time work and has precious little time for coaching. He still provides excellent programs and a ton of useful information whenever we meet face to face. Other than that, it's pretty much up to me.
