It was cooler today, after yesterday's rain. Today was my first time back on the bike since my odyssey last Friday. Felt good!

The county fair is going on now, though it wasn't dark enough to get the full effects of the lights as I pedalled past, going home.

I had a couple people honk at me--people coming from the opposite direction--and I didn't realize until I nearly got home that my headlight was almost totally dimmed out!

One other weird thing....something scuttled across the road in front of me that I couldn't identify in the dim light. It looked two or three inches long, with a sort of tail, and moved fast, like a spider. If it's a bug, I have no idea what kind. It looked like it could possibly have been a small lizard, but as far as I know we don't have lizards around here...weird.
