Bikes: Schwinn Voyageur

Just one thought: When you get to Niagara Falls ON, instead of crossing Rainbow Bridge, go through town and find that riverside bike path above the falls. It parallels the Niagara River Parkway and goes all the way to Fort Erie, where you'll find easy crossing into NY at the Peace Bridge (which was ok for bikes the last time I rode it). It's a delightfully serene and scenic ride, 15-20 miles long. There's a nice campground and motel along the way. By going this route you'll also miss half of Buffalo, putting you that much closer to country riding again.
