Hey all-

So I'm trying to figure out what chainring/crank to put on my fixed gear. I know what brand I'm getting, Sugino Messenger, but I don't know much else. What is the normal amount of teeth for a fixed gear and how does this effect the gear ratio? I checked out the Sheldon Brown website, but it only served to confuse me more.
