Sounds exactly like my ride this morning. Extremely soggy. I do hope that my riding clothing is partially dry by the time it is time to go home tonight.
The sleeves on my shirt were still damp. So were my shoes. Other than that, no rain on the ride home, and my wife met me around the halfway point and rode back home with me.
I had a killer tailwind pushing me. My wife was complaining about riding into it but she liked it once she turned around.
