Oh, I don't think so. In fact 95% of admissions of tramatic head injuries are not cyclists. There are more head injury admissions from victims of intentional assult (something I'm sure some would like me to be part of) than from cycling.
Tramatic brain injury is only a small 20% of all brain injuries. The other 80% of brain injury occurs from heart attacks and strokes, something regular cycling can prevent.
So, if you look at the forest, cyclists are hardly a single tree in the forest of head injuries. A single tree that could reduce other trees (of brain injury) from growing.
