Woke up - jumped into shower - checked the weather forecast, looked outside - 60'sF (15C) no rain - perfect!

5 minutes into the ride, the misty rain/fog from "Gorillas in the Mist" movie comes rolling in! Had to stop a few times to wipe my glasses. For some reason, when it rains (even a little mist), the cabs in NY go nuts & try to run over anyone & everyone on the road (to stick to my theme, they must be the angry gorillas)!

Road was a bit slippery but it was not bad - dodged a few cars & doormens who stand in the middle of the road waving for cabbies. It would be nice if the city bans double-parking to make mroe room for bikes (& cars).

Overall, it was all good! Looking fwd to misty ride back home later.
