how do you do it "correctly"? By having them match your chain, grips, spoke cards, saddle, and stem? By having a brake lever on your top tube which leads to a caliper on a rear wheel that can easily be stopped w/ your legs? Is that correct?

Recently I was thinking about getting some tires that have a blue stripe, but have decided against it. Basically, for me, I was going to be paying more for a lesser tire just to get blue. I could have gatorskin for $25 or a Michelin Lithion w/ blue stripe for $28. Didn't make sense to me. Randos are a good tire, though, that comes in white so maybe it's different w/ that specific color.

P.S.--having colored tires doesn't make you a hipster. I see tons of hardcore roadies w/ colored tires.
