It an iblue 757 solar gps bluetooth data logger. It will track where ya go, is rechargeable and has a small solar panel thing to help charge on the go if you like as well. If you want to see its stats just bang that model into ebay and you will see specs and going prices.
Id take 30USD for it. It just sits in a drawer so what the hey.

your idea is great, I have it (without solar panel and price for me was 60$ :-(...), I exported GPX track to Sprtypal web site from it. Result was great: Sportypal web recalculate distance of the workout, time, average speed even start/stop time, max speed, max/min altitude.....even more Sportypal put my results in data base and I can see my results altogether for a week, month or full year...
Thank you for idea because for road bikeing I will stil use my phone, but when I go on MTB then i will put Iblue data loger, if I crash it is not so expensive, these days is cheaper :-)
