I've used the Arkel commuter bag with its laptop padded pocket. Arkel makes excellent bags and this one works great by just popping it off the rear rack. Not a cheappie, though. Doesn't wobble, shimmy, and strangely enough does not change the balance of my bike despite having a lot of weight in it sometimes. The rain cover really works since I've ridden home in a serious downpour & everything stayed dry.
