I'm making this prediction mostly because I am sick to death of the cutting, deep analysis that it takes to see that, hey, Lance has a big ego and might not want to play domestique. So, out of spite, I predict that everything will turn out to be a tempest in a teapot. There may be some mind games in the opening days, on the non-critical stages, and then BAM, Lance, Levi and the rest blow the field out of the water, AC rides onto the podium (quite possibly the top step) and Bruyneel laughs all the way to the bank. I mean, c'mon we're talking about Bruyneel here. You have to expect some possibility (=1) that he's messing with the opposition in one way or another. I bet this is it. He's too smart to let his team out of his control. I will be very surprised if there turn out to be serious leadership problems on Astana. I'm very confident about this. And if I'm wrong, the ensuing fireworks and drama will be so entertaining that I'll be able to handle the sting of missing this call.
