Saddle help?

I really need to get a new saddle for my Trek 6700. The one that came stock on it is killing me. One in particular that I'm looking at is the Selle Italia prolink gel comp. It looks nice and they say it will adapt to the shape of the rider and follow your movements while riding, which sounds like it would be really comfortable. My question is this. I weigh about 245-250 lbs. If I bought this saddle, would I be asking too much from its "composite" rails to support my large frame? If that's the case, can anyone suggest a comfortable saddle that would also support me without worries of breakage? I don't mind paying a lot as long as it feels good.

Thanks for all the help in advance!
