I don't think you'll have a breakage problem, but you may have to try several different saddles before you find the one that is just right. Some dealers will allow you a trial period with exchange priveledges. TERRY, known for women's saddles, also make some fine men's seats.
There is no right or wrong, one size fits all, in saddles. There may be as many as 50 different companies offering saddles and each of them has 10 to 20 different models for differnt kinds of Butts and different kinds of riding.
Look through the archives here, you'll find dozens of recomendations and evaluations of many different brands of seat, but not one that is right for everyone. I'm afraid it is trial and error. Basically, though, any quality saddle should handle your weight.
