Not so good. A beautiful morning 12deg C and I was full of energy so gunned it down the dirt path to get my morning adrenalin fix.

Took the steps a bit fast and pannier detached itself from the rack ending up with the internal card/ plastic liner getting mangled in my spokes. Quick adjust and a dozen swear words later I continued.

Reached the fast, heavy traffic stretch and again the pannier went into the spokes - this time a large size 8 Allen key pokes through making a thunderous ratatatatat in my rear. Hopped onto the grassy verge and the damage to the pannier is expensive looking. sigh. Time for a new one. Didnt have time to examine the spokes too closely but I still managed to beat the magic 30 minute mark.

Time to troll the panniers forums.
