...to get back to 'form' after vacation/cold? I went on vacation for a week, where I only rode once for 2 hrs on a rental...came back, rode the next day and promptly got a cold. Im not gonna complain too much considering I hadnt been sick at all for over two years. Now, 8 days later the cold is pretty much gone, just a little leftover snot. But my fitness is way off. I tried to do my threshold interval this morning and failed miserably
...I assume this is normal, Im just hoping it doesnt take too long to regain some of my previous form. I think my plan at this point is to just get out and put in some 'base' miles. What do you think? Whats been your experience?
