Although there are some here who ride centuries that fast or faster, there are also many others who ride them slower, some much slower. There are many, many others who have not ridden a century at any speed.

Most of my century times in recent years have been between 6 1/2 and 7 1/2 hours. I've done a few that went over 8 hours. Averaging 12 - 13 1/2 mph on hilly rides seems very respectable to me. Not that it matters anyway.
