I'm a visually disabled bicyclist due to Toxoplasmosis with eyesight of 20/200 in the right eye and 20/400 in the left eye. I wear a special pair of eyeglasses called Ocutechs. The carrier lenses are ones that clear up as much of my vision as possible. Above the carrier lenses is a short-range telescope which enable me to see 20/40 vision. The Ocutech's telescope is perfect for when I go riding, reading street signs, pedestrian traffic, etc. It's a great piece of equipment.

Unfortunately, I can't wear my Ocutech eyeglasses in misty or wet weather. If I did, the moisture would get into and onto the numerous lenses that reflect and refract the images of what I saw from one end of the telescope to the other. Thus, the telescope would be ruined. So the Ocutechs are reserved for fair weather or sheltered places.
