When LeMond seriously started training with power and such he said that his base numbers did not change significantly over his career. In fact, they decreased after his accident and he had to work his way back up to his genetic limits.
i think i must still be too young and naive to believe in limitations...
i have no doubt his numbers stayed level and dipped when he had his accident, but i'd like to see the undeniable FACT that there are absolute physical limitations
