Yep. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the OP mentioned it to him, and he just refused to listen, and not only decided to stay on a nice "safe" sidewalk, but also chose to ignore strategies to mitigate sidewalk riding dangers (i.e., treating all driveways with extreme caution).

Hope the leg heals okay. It's great that the recent covert is not giving up and is instead changing his strategy to a safer one. Let's hope this will be the worst crash he'll ever have.
