I'd never heard of bib shorts until about 2 months ago when I got back into riding. Thought they looked different, but my friend at the LBS recommended them. Never been sorry I got them, and guess I'll get some better ones when these wear out. Still can't get over paying so much for lycra though, but guess it's worth it.
