In Baton Rouge the wx is pretty much the same as NO, but I don't draw a line as to being too hot to ride. I work in the heat all day and have just become acclimated to it. The difference is that my commute is 5 miles each way rather than 17 each way like Joey. I also slow down some in the afternoon. Fast enough to have a breeze but not so strenuous as to be dripping wet. Also I have 4 miles out of 5 that are the back way through neighborhoods. I only drive when I have errands across town or if I need the truck for something large, long or heavy.
