In theory, I can take the day off if it's too hot --or too anything-- that's not a problem. But realistically, since I leave the house at 5:00 A M during the summer, I can take the heat into account. And it's never too hot to go home, right? So I end up riding in the heat, whatever it happens to be.

For me the worst thing about riding in the heat is that the train is air conditioned; and it gets terribly cold. My six miles on the bike isn't long enough that I have to bother with water to drink, but I can be drenched with sweat by the time I get on the train. I have to carry a heavy fleece jacket for the train ride, and if I'm really wet I'll freeze even with the jacket.
