If you tell us your dimensions (height and inseam) as well as the sizes of the bikes the LBS was trying to sell you, that might give us an easier time at giving you an idea of which bike is better suited to you.
Yea I'm around 5'7" and the synapse was around 51cm I believe, it fit perfectly, the feel and ease of my posture was really good.
I think I've made up my mind.
