I have an Arione which I have ridden a long time, and just bought the Toupe (143)... the Arione may be "flat" when looked at length-wise, but it is not flat width-wise, you can that there's going to be an upward bulge between where your sit bones contact -- and the wider your sit bones, the more the bulge. I switched to Toupe because after about 60-75km, my junk would start getting numb - after very very long rides, I might get the 'burning urethra' sensation when taking a p#ss. So obviously it was putting a lot of pressure on my perineum and I was having to make sure I stood regularly to work around that. It's certainly comfortable to just park your butt on and cycle around the block but unless you put in long hours, you may not realize that it may not be appropriate for you. My sit bones are probably just too wide for the Arione, which obviously will not be true for everyone. The Touple definitely "feels" harder in your hands, but it also weighs like 77g less (2009 Toupe Team 167g vs. 2007 Arione WingFlex team edition = 244g) and actually has a good deal of flex/give in it when you start hitting the rough stuff. I was definitely struck by how much less pressure I feel with Toupe and I'm optimistic that numb-junk/burns-to-p#ss days are over. I did really like how the Arione looked, but that's not a reason to ride a saddle is it...

I think I was measured on the Specialized butt-meter as 135mm
For Selle SMP, I was measured as being between the Glider and the Pro (probably the Pro). If the Toupe doesn't work out, that's my next stop... (I'm 165lb if that affects your opinion)

Nothing wrong with the Arione, it just has to be right for your body.
cheers
