What brakes do you have?

They have a dual compound (black/salmon) too, but for the most part:
Salmon: for wet conditions
Black: for normal conditions
Z-Chromium (green): for ceramic rims
you mean carbon, I hope. Ceramic rims would be interesting on rough roads...
