screw riding on 2222 there are better routes to get out there.
hte posse east ride is posted on CL all the time. they don't care if people bring geared bikes.
i've never been on it. i was going to go a few weekends ago but was a little late and had to wait for two others who were even later so we just rode to exposition and up shoal creek and back for a 25 mile route.

PS austin guys. yesterday i saw a large (58-60cm probablye) new cinelli vigorelli with new campy pista cranks, some kinda colored deepV i think, maybe white, forumla hubs. it was at barton springs and the dudes lock was not locked. u lock with the little hook on the end so one side was swung open. i noticed it. didn't say much. asked one of the life gaurds if i could bring the bike inside for the dude and the lifegaurd said no bikes inside sorry. same rules for everyone...
well i guess you guys saw the bike stolen post on CL. sucks.
