The reason for the huge stack of spacers? That's the way it came since I bought it as a pre-built bike. Haven't had the cash to change anything yet really, but it is on my to-do list.
All you have to do is cut the extra off. A brand new hack saw is only so much. I bet a bike shop would do it for less them a 20 spot. If you ever reck and catch that in the chest or crotch you will really with it had been cut off trust me.
