I think tapering this week is an excellent idea. borrowing from my running training techniques, as long as you trained well up to this point, your body will have more benefit from the relaxing week than it will from hardcore training. dont do "nothing", take a few easy rides, but dont kill it this week, your body will thank you for the rest this weekend.
