I live on the Florida Gulf Coast, so my area is just as hot/humid as New Orleans. High 90s for temps and for humidity are common from April to October. I've never not ridden because of temperature in either extrmeme. I will say that I hydrate like crazy when riding above 90 degrees. Fredly as it may be, I use a Camelbak AND two bottles, and can easily drain the Camelbak on the 20 mile ride.
